Social Sailing Registration - Dabchicks Sailing Club Please complete the registration form in advncae

We don't offer qualified instruction but there are people happy to take the inexperienced out for a sail, teach you the basics and we always have safety boats on the water whilst we are sailing.

This shore based session is the first evening of the social sailing season. We will initially meet at 18:30pm in the Dabchicks Dinghy Park where we will show you how how to rig the club boats and you can ask any questions you have about a boat you may have bought for the season but are unfamiliar with or want us to check over. There will be an ashore 'safety on the water session' for those who take part in the safety team with the first part hands on in the dinghy park and the second part in the club afterwards.

We then go to the Club house at 19:00pm for registration/introduction and a chance to meet and ask questions about the two sailing evenings.

The first on the water sailing evening is the 5th May for Adult sailing and 7th May for Ladies sailing, weather permitting, ready to launch at 18:00 on the 5th and 18:30 on the 7th (All times will be confirmed on the associated whats app group)

You will need to come (on the first sailing night) prepared with warm waterproof clothing, a buoyancy aid and either water boots or old trainers. You must be a member of Dabchicks Sailing Club to take part in Socail Sailing, but we do offer three taster sessions which will give you the opportunity to decide if sailing is for you. Dabchicks have boats to hire for members.

We are a very friendly group who encourage and support each other. We always finish the evening with a drink and a few nibbles and lots of laughs about the fun we have had on the water, so come down and join us.
