Since 2021 the sport of sailing has moved greatly to an online world for booking and management of a variety of different types of events.. Systems have been developed and refined to such a degree it is all very simple and make it much easier to administer for the competitors, clubs and volunteers. This evening we take a look at two processes.
1) Entering an event
What do the sailors need to know?
What do the organisers need to know?
What do the documents mean?
Finding crew?
What should the sailors expect?
2) Booking of the two club Sonatas.
The boats have been bought to give members the opportunity to day cruise, practice, race or train. There is a booking system in place and during the evening we will show people how to use it.
There will be a Q&A at the end of the evening where we are happy to discuss other topics around participation on the water.
